Texas-made. Affected by a 2023 Salmonella recall covering multiple Victor lines after FDA investigation linked human illnesses to product handling.
Victor is manufactured by Mid America Pet Food.
Victor pet food is made in US.
Victor was founded in 2007.
Victor is not on our WSAVA-aligned shortlist. That doesn't automatically mean the food is poor quality — many strong brands haven't pursued WSAVA recognition — but it means we lack independent confirmation of feeding-trial validation and on-staff veterinary nutritionist staffing.
No Victor recall appears in FDA's pet food recall list for the last five years. A recall filed under a parent company's or co-packer's name may not be linked here; FDA's recall list is the definitive source.
Victor averages 68/100 across 31 products in our catalog. Individual product scores combine ingredient quality, AAFCO compliance, and controversial-additive severity. See the methodology page for the full algorithm.
