Frequently asked questions
Who makes Pure Cravings pet food?
Pure Cravings is manufactured by PetSmart house brand.
Where is Pure Cravings made?
Pure Cravings pet food is made in US.
Is Pure Cravings WSAVA-aligned?
Pure Cravings is not on our WSAVA-aligned shortlist. That doesn't automatically mean the food is poor quality — many strong brands haven't pursued WSAVA recognition — but it means we lack independent confirmation of feeding-trial validation and on-staff veterinary nutritionist staffing.
Has Pure Cravings ever been recalled?
No Pure Cravings recall appears in FDA's pet food recall list for the last five years. A recall filed under a parent company's or co-packer's name may not be linked here; FDA's recall list is the definitive source.
How does Pure Cravings score in our analysis?
Pure Cravings averages 58/100 across 15 products in our catalog. Individual product scores combine ingredient quality, AAFCO compliance, and controversial-additive severity. See the methodology page for the full algorithm.
