Frequently asked questions

Who makes Get Joy pet food?

Get Joy is manufactured by Get Joy Food Inc..

Where is Get Joy made?

Get Joy pet food is made in US.

Is Get Joy WSAVA-aligned?

Get Joy is not on our WSAVA-aligned shortlist. That doesn't automatically mean the food is poor quality — many strong brands haven't pursued WSAVA recognition — but it means we lack independent confirmation of feeding-trial validation and on-staff veterinary nutritionist staffing.

Has Get Joy ever been recalled?

No Get Joy recall appears in FDA's pet food recall list for the last five years. A recall filed under a parent company's or co-packer's name may not be linked here; FDA's recall list is the definitive source.

How does Get Joy score in our analysis?

Get Joy averages 69/100 across 6 products in our catalog. Individual product scores combine ingredient quality, AAFCO compliance, and controversial-additive severity. See the methodology page for the full algorithm.
